There is a great quote from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe … As soon as you trust yourself, you will know how to live.
I know for a fact building trust in any relationship is about making and keeping small agreements. It is about, as the late Dr. Stephen Covey would say … it is about making deposits in people’s emotional bank accounts.
It is about making a small commitment or agreement and honouring that agreement. Look at it this way, when someone makes a commitment to and then does not honour it, how do you feel about person?
What is one action you can take that will build stronger trust in you as a person? What is one small commitment or agreement you are going to make to yourself today?
In building trust in ourselves, it gives to ourselves … a belief we are worthy of the very best life has to offer.
