Yesterday I was on the Gold Coast judging the Gold Coast Women in Business Awards and it was a great honour to be asked to take on the role, but more importantly to meet some truly amazing people. As each participant shared their story of how they got started and why they decided to get started a common theme appeared. As they achieved one goal, it very subtlety led to the next opportunity or goal that was not originally on their radar.
So here are a couple of questions to ponder – think back to some of the goals that you have achieved in the past and then what goals did they lead to as a natural course? As you achieve one goal, a thin thread appears sometimes totally unnoticed at the time, that prepares you for the next goal or the one after that.
The real magic of setting and achieving goals is the serendipity circumstances that happen along the way.
