Goal setting is not just about you, but what you do for others in your life, or for people you have never met. So this week, I would like you to write down 5 goals you would like to do for other people. They could be for family, friends, community groups, causes or just a random act of kindness. These goals could be you giving your time, expertise or money.
Here are my 5 things I want to do for others …
- Pay for parking or the toll for the car behind me.
- Give a scholarship to someone to go and live their passion for 12 months.
- Write a book that assists kids to live more passionately in their lifetime and give it away.
- Host a reunion with all my old friends from Rotaract for people to reconnect.
- Become an anonymous donator of a large sum of money to a worthy cause.
What are your 5?
Here are some of the countries people want to visit, very inspiring …
- Finland—stay in a glass igloo in the north, take a husky ride and see the northern lights.
- Antarctica—cruise on the super Le Boreal and take the Zodiac ride.
- Tanzania—safari drive and picnic lunch at the bottom of the Ngorongoro Crater.
- Fiji—stay in an overwater bunaglow at the Likuliku Resort and paddle in an outrigger canoe.
- Italy—have been several times before, but would like to walk the Cinque Terre.
- Peru—trek to Machu Picchu.
- Austria—Salzburg and do a Sound of Music Tour.
- Holland—during the Tulip Festival.
- Switzerland—visit the countryside.
- Germany—visit castles and museums and attend the Oktoberfest.
- Canada—cruise Vancouver to Alaska and take the mountain railway through the Rockies.
- Myanmar—visit the temples.
- USA—Hawaii again, didn’t spend long enough last trip!
- Galapagos Islands—too bizarre not to include!
